Butterfly Awakening – A New Year of Transformation
As we step into January, this butterfly artwork invites us to reflect on the power of new beginnings. Just as a caterpillar transforms in its cocoon, the new year offers an opportunity to shed the old and embrace the unknown with courage and creativity.
The butterfly symbolizes renewal, resilience, and the beauty that emerges through change. Its first flight reminds us that transformation often begins quietly, yet leads to something extraordinary.
Tonight, we will explore this transformation using alcohol inks to create vibrant, flowing colors, watercolors to add delicate, translucent layers, and a raised linework to define the butterfly’s outline and bring it to life.
