What makes Minibugs special?
At Minibugs Toddler Group, we believe in creating memorable experiences for both children and their grown-ups. Each week is an adventure with a new theme, from dinosaurs and farm animals to vehicles and zoos, and of course, our very own Minibugs theme! We foster a vibrant space where children can freely express themselves through:
- Messy painting (we embrace the mess so you don’t have to clean it up!)
- Sensory play with tuff trays, homemade playdough, and more engaging activities
- Dress-up and role play, including a pretend coffee machine for imaginative fun
- Early learning through colours, numbers, and textures
- Calming story and song time sessions
For grown-ups, it's a chance to enjoy a warm cuppa, have a friendly chat, and connect with other parents and carers in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.
A typical Minibugs session
Our sessions are designed to be engaging and exploratory for toddlers aged 1-3. Every week, we dive into a fresh theme, sparking curiosity and creativity. Imagine exploring a dinosaur landscape one week, and a bustling farm the next! Activities typically include:
- Hands-on messy painting for uninhibited artistic expression
- Rich sensory play setups with tuff trays filled with exciting materials and homemade playdough
- Opportunities for dress-up and role play, encouraging imaginative scenarios
- Activities focused on early learning concepts like colours, numbers, and textures
- Interactive story and song time to wind down the session
We provide a small, welcoming group setting to ensure every child gets attention and every grown-up feels comfortable. Our goal is to offer creative, sensory fun where play is paramount and the clean-up is always on us!
Who is Minibugs perfect for?
The Minibugs Toddler Group is ideal for little ones aged 1 to 3 years. Parents and carers often seek out Minibugs for a variety of reasons:

Existing groups run on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00am-10:30am, priced at £7.50 per child. We are excited to announce a new Monday session to accommodate more families!
