Welcome to the Doodlebugs Arts & Crafts Needlecraft Club — a fun, creative space where children can discover the joy of making things with their hands.
Explore the world of needlecraft
Our Needlecraft Club is running every day, 4pm–6pm, giving children the chance to learn new skills, get creative and work on exciting needlecraft projects. Whether your child is completely new to needlecraft or already loves making and stitching, our friendly sessions are designed to encourage creativity, confidence and practical skills.
Embroidery skills
This term, our main focus is embroidery, where children will learn various stitches and techniques to create beautiful designs.
Diverse projects
Children can also explore knitting, crochet, hand sewing, and machine sewing, providing a broad introduction to needlecraft.
Creative development
A mixture of guided projects and opportunities for children to develop their own ideas and creativity is provided.
Develop confidence and practical skills
Our friendly sessions are designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and practical skills in all participants.
What children will learn
Children will gain new skills in various needlecrafts, including embroidery, knitting, crochet, and both hand and machine sewing. Beyond the technical skills, the club fosters creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills. It’s a wonderful way to build confidence through artistic expression and achievement.

Each session costs £10 per child, and all necessary materials are provided, ensuring a hassle-free and enriching experience for everyone. Simply come along and get creative!
